Why Sound?
Every culture on every continent has used sound for many thousands of years. For example consider the bells, gongs, and bowls of Tibetan and Nepalese cultures, the didgeridoo of the Australian Aborigines, and the drum and rattle of the Native Americans. Sound has been used, and continues to be used, to bring people from distressed states to relaxed, aware presence.
